This session is geared for teachers in their first year of teaching. We will discuss some of the following: 1. Ways to organize your classroom 2. Helpful tips and tricks for looking into your students' backgrounds (this can help with student groupings, SLO, seating charts, etc) 3. 1st day concerns and questions 4. Possible ways to get involved in your school. Each person will leave with a handout of information regarding ACPSD tools and directions for using them in one platform for easy access (SAM, Enrich, Gradebook, ABE, Powerschool, Instructional Framework) and engaging instructional strategies. Our goal for this session is that anyone nervous or stressed about beginning the school year can come, discuss, get some useful and helpful suggestions and pointers, and leave feeling confident about the new school year!
